Carl G. Gercke

Carl is the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of HeadInvest. He joined the firm as director of research in 1999. Carl has over twenty five years of experience in the investment industry. He began his career in 1985 in corporate finance with Prudential Insurance Company, later becoming a portfolio manager there. In 1992 he joined Unum, where he was a Director in corporate securities Carl holds a B.A. in English from Yale University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is Past President of the Maine CFA Society. He serves on the investment committee of Baxter State Park. email Carl
